3D Home Architect - Jevans House and Garden Design

This house and garden was designed using 3D Home Architect Design Suite Deluxe 8. I've raised the height of ground floor by 2000mm (2 metres) and introduced a plateau of 2000mm height so that the house and garden is raised above the rest of the land by 2m, to avoid possibility of floods affecting the house. Unfortunately this probably means any water runoff will go to the neighbours gardens. Oh well. Hopefully they will install drains in this property design in any of the key areas that could need them. It's actually completely flat in the design, but in fact it might be better to have some slope in reality so that the water from rain has somewhere to run to, I haven't incorporated such a feature. I guess if it's truly flat then a drain anywhere in the backyard and frontyard will drain it, maybe one drain on each 4 sides of the house to be safe. That will minimize the effect of water running off the sides of the plateau and into the neighbours yard because it will first go down the drain. Maybe I should have built a trench all around on the lower part of the plateau and put a few drains in, so that the trench catches the water.
